Mark your calendars, country fans: Y-Live 2026 is bringing the heat to northeast Ohio with back-to-back headline performances from Jason Aldean and Eric Church. This July, Stambaugh Stadium in Youngstown becomes the epicenter of country music when these two powerhouse performers take the stage for what promises to be the concert event of the summer.
Friday, July 10, 2026 kicks off the weekend with Jason Aldean—the Georgia-born hitmaker behind anthems like “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Big Green Tractor,” and “Burnin’ It Down.” Currently on his scorching Full Throttle Tour, Aldean brings his trademark blend of country and rock to the Valley with southern rock legend Travis Tritt warming up the crowd.
Saturday, July 11, 2026 belongs to Eric Church—the maverick known as “The Chief” whose live shows routinely exceed three hours of pure adrenaline. Supporting his critically acclaimed Evangeline vs. The Machine album, Church brings his Free The Machine Tour energy to Youngstown with Nashville’s hottest writer-turned-artist Ernest in the opening slot.
For the first time since 2019, Y-Live returns to its original home—the iconic Stambaugh Stadium on the Youngstown State University campus. After years at Wean Park downtown, the festival’s homecoming creates an intimate stadium atmosphere where every one of the 20,000 fans per night gets an exceptional view and unmatched energy.
YSU President Bill Johnson celebrated the return: “Bringing Y-Live back to Stambaugh Stadium is a homecoming we’re proud to be part of. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to the Mahoning Valley and the role Youngstown State plays as a gathering place for our community.”

Jason Aldean has spent two decades dominating country radio and touring arenas worldwide. Since signing with Broken Bow Records in 2005, he’s released eleven studio albums, earned three ACM Entertainer of the Year awards, and racked up 27 #1 singles. His music blends traditional country storytelling with hard-driving rock energy—a formula that’s produced platinum sellers like My Kinda Party and Night Train. Whether he’s performing heartfelt ballads or crowd-pumping anthems like “She’s Country” and “Let Your Boys Be Country,” Aldean delivers every time.
Grammy winner Travis Tritt helped shape modern country music with his southern-rock-infused sound in the early 1990s. Hits like “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive,” “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” made him a household name, and his live performances still command stages across America. Paired with Aldean, this Friday night doubleheader offers fans a masterclass in country-rock excellence.
No one in country music commands a stage quite like Eric Church. The North Carolina native built his career on uncompromising artistry, refusing to follow Nashville conventions and instead forging his own path. Albums like Chief, The Outsiders, and Mr. Misunderstood showcase his range—from introspective ballads to arena-shaking rockers. His legendary concerts often run 3+ hours without breaks, fueled by his devoted fan base, the “Church Choir.” Hits like “Springsteen,” “Drink in My Hand,” and “Hell of a View” will have Stambaugh Stadium rocking.
Ernest (Ernest K. Smith) represents Nashville’s bright future. A prolific songwriter behind hits for Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, and Chris Lane, he’s stepped into the spotlight with his own twist-heavy style. Songs like “Flower Shops” and “Miss That Girl” showcase his genre-bending creativity. Opening for Eric Church, Ernest will prove why he’s one of Music City’s most exciting emerging artists.
What started as a single-night concert has evolved into the Mahoning Valley’s defining summer event. From Zac Brown Band’s inaugural performance at Stambaugh Stadium in 2017 to Blake Shelton’s massive 2019 show, Y-Live has consistently delivered world-class entertainment to northeast Ohio.
The festival’s expansion to a two-night format in 2025—featuring John Mayer and Tim McGraw at Wean Park—proved the demand exists for bigger programming. Now, with Jason Aldean and Eric Church headlining separate nights back at Stambaugh Stadium, Y-Live 2026 represents the most ambitious edition yet.
Unlike festival grounds or arena shows, Stambaugh Stadium offers a unique open-air concert experience:
